ADMINISTRATIVE DOCKET Thursday, September 28, 1989
1. The “Administrative Matters for Consideration” portion of the court’s Conference Calendar will be released to the public on the date of each conference. The results of the court’s administrative actions will be announced on a subsequent Announcement Day as part of the court’s Announcement List under the category “Administrative Docket,” except for personnel matters and such other matters as the court determines should not be disclosed.
2. Pursuant to the request of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the personnel records of James William Kelly, former Clerk of the Supreme Court, are to be released to the public, except for any records which may now be the subject of an investigation by the Franklin County Grand Jury.
3. The request of Randall Dana, State Public Defender, for permission of out-of-state attorneys to practice in legal services and public defender programs, and for an appropriate amendment of the Rules for the Government of the Bar permitting such limited practice, was tabled pending further study.
4. The court adopted an amendment to Gov. Bar R. VIII(2)(f)(i) concerning the powers of the Chairman of the Clients’ Security Fund of Ohio to invest the fund. The amendment is effective October 1, 1989.
