2. Amendments to the Rules of Superintendence for the Courts of Ohio, Amended Standard Probate Forms 6.1, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 10.0, 10.1, 10.2, 12.0, 12.1, 14.0, 22.0, and 22.2, and Rule 99 were adopted.
3. Proposed amendments to Gov.Bar R. V were published for public comment.
4. Louis Arden BoeWer was appointed to the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline of the Supreme Court.
5. Judge David E. Stucki was appointed to the Commission on Certification of Attorneys as Specialists.
6. Dennis R. Newman v. as appointed to the Board of Commissioners on the Unauthorized Practice of Law.
7. An amendment to S.Ct.Prac.R. VI(1)(B)(1) (Appellant’s Brief) was adopted.
8. The court’s Pilot Mediation Project was extended through the end of 1998.
9. Joseph Gibson was appointed to the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline of the Supreme Court from District Eleven.
10. Gov.Bar R. V(ll) (Resignation from the Practice of Law) was adopted.
11. Amendments to Gov.Bar R. X(3)(E)(3) and (9) (Continuing Legal Education for Acting Judges) were adopted.
12. Proposed amendments to the Rules of Civil Procedure and the Rules of Evidence were published for public comment.
13. The Supreme Court adopted a court security program.
14. Amendments to Gov.Jud.R. IV(2), (3), (4), and (6) (Judicial Continuing Legal Education Professionalism Component) were adopted.
15. Todd Mazzola was appointed to the Board of Bar Examiners.
16. D. Michael Reny was reappointed to the Board of Commissioners on Character and Fitness.
17. E. James Hopple and John J. Chester, Jr., were reappointed to the Board of Commissioners of the Clients’ Security Fund of Ohio. E. James Hopple was reappointed Chair for 1999.
18. Ralph Russo and Judge Patrick McGrath were reappointed to the Commission on Professionalism. John S. Stith and Judge C. Ashley Pike were appointed Chair and Vice-Chair, respectively, of the commission.
19. Harry R. Reinhart was reappointed to the Committee on the Appointment of Counsel for Indigent Defendants in Capital Cases.
20. Dale K. Perdue was reappointed to the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline of the Supreme Court.
21. Judge Michael Sage, Judge Thomas E. Louden, and Magistrate Kathleen Graham were approved as members of the Supreme Court Rules Advisory Committee.
22. Proposed revisions to the Domestic Violence Protection Order Forms (Forms 10.01-A to 10.01-J and 10.02-A) will be published for public comment.
23. Proposed amendments to Sup.R. 10 and 10.03 and the Standard Criminal and Civil Stalking Protection Order Forms will be published for public comment.
24. Proposed amendments to Sup.R. 80 and 81 and Standard Domestic Relations Forms will be published for public comment.
25. Douglas N. Godshall was reappointed to the Commission on Certification of Attorneys as Specialists.
26. Judge W. Scott Gwin was reappointed to the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline of the Supreme Court. Judge Dana A Deshler, Jr. was appointed to the board.
