ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS
1. Amendments to Rule 10.04 of the Rules of Superintendence for the Courts of Ohio (standard notice concerning possession or purchase of a firearm) and Forms 10.01-G, 10.03-H, and 10.04-A have been adopted, effective February 1, 2009. The official version of the amendments has been published in the January 12, 2009 Ohio Official Reports advance sheet.
Moyer, C.J., and Pfeifer, Lundberg Stratton, O’Connor, O’Donnell, Lanzinger, and Cupp, JJ., concurred in adopting the amendments.
2. Rules 44 through 47 of the Rules of Superintendence for the Courts of Ohio have been adopted, effective May 1, 2009. The rules address public access to court records. The official version of the rules has been published in the January 12, 2009 Ohio Official Reports advance sheet.
Moyer, C.J., and Lundberg Stratton, O’Connor, O’Donnell, Lanzinger, and Cupp, JJ., concurred in adopting the rules.
Pfeifer, J., dissented.
3. Amendments to Canon 7(C) and (G) of the Code of Judicial Conduct have been adopted, effective January 1, 2009. The amendments adjust the contribution limits applicable to judicial campaign committees for campaigns in 2009 and thereafter.
